Prop 2 passed in California giving chickens and other animals more freedom. Meanwhile Prop 8 also passes stripping gay people the right to get married. Yes the connection is a bit of a stretch but it’s something to think about.

Video was taken on Saturday at Sunset Junction in Silverlake, CA. Over 10,000 protesters including celebrities like Zachary Quinto, Wanda Sykes, James Franco and Drew Barrymore showed up to voice there opposition to Prop 8 and support of overturning this new unconstitutional gay marriage ban.

Thank you Mr. Pitt for your $100,000 contribution to opposing Proposition 8, the California ballot initiative that would stop some pretty amazing people from getting married to the person they love.
